Exhibition at the Music Hall

Udstilling i Musikhuset

Job fair at the Musikhuset and Maya Soele® were invited.

There was an AC Job Fair at the Musikhuset and the Jobcentret had invited me to talk about entrepreneurship and board work. It was perfect because those are the two things that interest me, and if I can help others with their questions, I'm happy to do so.

I had just been to a customer's place and closed an agreement for delivery, so that all the figures from Maya Soele® were included, and the agreement was also that I would show off my figures.

I was happy to have the opportunity, because then visitors to the job fair could see the good focus on vocational education that my figures symbolize.

It was overwhelming how many people showed interest, and came up with a lot of good questions. Both about how to get started as a self-employed person and about my board training with Karina Boldsen at AROS BOARD. (By the way, a training I can highly recommend if you are interested in board work and would like to have your skills documented.)

I was also approached by a young woman who really wanted to do an internship with me, and after talking to her, I could feel a good energy and a shared mindset about recognizing vocational education, and she is undoubtedly also super talented. So we agreed on a collaboration. I'm looking forward to that.

A lot of people also asked about my figures and how the idea came about. My answer is always that they should try to Google groomsmen gifts, and then they will see the answer why. Because the selection is minimal, and it simply cannot fit.

We must pay tribute to all proud craftsmen and clearly signal how important a vocational education is and how high its status is. It makes a huge difference to society and to you and me.
