At the shop you can get groomsmen gifts and poster cards.
When we needed to find some picture frames to match our greeting cards (poster cards), we knew that it didn't have to be just any picture frames.
They should be made of recycled wood and preferably produced somewhere that made a difference in society.
After a good dialogue with founder and CEO Christian Helweg, we had no doubts. Råt&Godt in Aalborg would supply our picture frames.
All picture frames are made of recycled oak wood and MDF.
The talented young people who have made all the picture frames by hand are not trained carpenters or joiners, and no two picture frames are alike. Not all collections are equal and each picture frame is unique.
It's precisely the imperfections and the fact that the wood is recycled materials that make us love these picture frames. Each frame is a clear example of a young person practicing frame by frame to become more skilled at the craft.
Enjoy the diversity in your setting, and praise the talented young person for making an effort and learning new things.
Who is Raw&Good?
Råt&Godt is a socially responsible and sustainable company that offers employment courses in a realistic working environment with creative frameworks. Råt&Godt's primary purpose is to help citizens with challenges beyond unemployment find meaningful employment. Råt&Godt clarifies educational and job opportunities in a holistic employment course with individual pedagogical support and interdisciplinary cooperation.
In the process, the citizen goes through three phases, which are explained in more detail in Råt&Godt's AFA plan: Clarification, Immersion and development, and Conclusion.
The AFA plan forms the basis for the method and was developed by Christian Helweg, founder and director of Råt&Godt. It is based on Råt&Godt's experiences with initiatives that support young citizens from the margins of the labor market into meaningful employment.
Råt&Godt's offerings are aimed at citizens with an interest in both craft, creative and service-oriented professions, and therefore we consist of various departments that produce furniture and interiors, solve interior design tasks and carry out carpentry and joinery tasks.
All of Råt&Godt's products and projects are made from recycled materials in collaboration with the citizens in our program who, for various reasons, do not thrive in an ordinary job or education program. Råt&Godt also has a recycled construction market that sells materials to businesses and private individuals.
Råt&Godt's business model is socially and environmentally sustainable at its core. All our activities and processes are sustainable and aim to promote social, economic and environmentally sustainable development, and therefore naturally contribute to most of the UN's Sustainable Development Goals.
Through partnerships with a wide range of educational institutions, responsible private companies and organizations, and municipalities, Råt&Godt helps citizens from the margins of the labor market find employment and promotes the recycling of good materials.
